CE – Declaration of Conformity with EU Legislation

Ecodesign – Energy Efficiency and Low Emissions
The Ecodesign requirements (EU 2015/1185) set mandatory limits for efficiency and emissions for domestic solid-fuel appliances. Ecodesign-compliant products offer high efficiency and significantly reduced CO, OGC, NOx, and PM emissions, ensuring environmentally friendly operation.
BImSchV Stage 2 – German Emission Standard
The German BImSchV Stage 2 regulation is among the strictest national standards in Europe. Certification ensures very low levels of CO, particulate matter, and other pollutants, which is a requirement for installation in Germany.
§15a B-VG – Austrian Environmental Requirements
§15a B-VG is Austrian legislation defining emission limits and efficiency criteria for solid-fuel heating appliances. Compliance guarantees environmentally responsible operation and adherence to regional regulations within Austria.
VKF / AEAI – Swiss Fire Safety Certification

Defra Ready – Low-Emission Compliance in the United Kingdom
The Defra Ready designation confirms that the appliance is approved for use in UK “Smoke Control Areas.” It guarantees clean combustion, low emissions, and compliance with the UK’s strict environmental regulations.
The European Commission has adopted EU Regulation 2015/1186, which prescribe manufacturers and retailers hot to mark the local space heaters.
